Kari Severson Snaza is Co-Founder and CEO of Oasis Health, which is building the leading value-based care solution. Kari serves on the board of directors for U.S. Anesthesia Partners (USAP) and Spire Health. She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Mayo Clinic. In this role, Kari worked closely with executive leadership and the board to develop corporate vision in support of Mayo’s Bold. Forward. 2030 strategic plan.
Prior to Mayo Clinic, Kari spent 15 years with UnitedHealth Group in leadership roles across the Optum and UnitedHealthcare businesses. Key highlights include leading UHG Global’s strategy and business development organization, building out the OptumCare integrated ambulatory care delivery platform and oversight of UnitedHealthcare’s dual eligible special needs (D-SNP) health plan product.
An entrepreneur at heart, Kari’s professional experience also includes founding a social wellness start up, Walkway, serving as an advisor to early-stage ventures, and healthcare consulting engagements. Snaza received her Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and her M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
